Mosaic Classes in my Home Studio
Tickets are Now Available
A little over a year ago I was invited to teach mosaic classes at a cute shop in Spokane Valley called The Mulberry Market. It was quite the destination for folks wanting to experience a variety of classes. Sadly that store closed about a month ago. I taught 45 mosaic classes there and having recently gone thorough all my feed back sheets there were close to 500 people who attended my classes. Amazing for something that pretty much fell in my lap unexpectedly. Classes at Mulberry generally had about 20 people attending with two hours to complete a project. It was fast paced, fun and exciting. We loved our time there and all the people we got to meet and interact with. So thank you to Hanna and her wonderful staff.
My kids grew up and moved on and Ive taken over the whole upstairs of the house. It has been about 7 years ago that I brought my Massage practice home. My elderly mother has dementia and it just made sense to base my practice here on the second floor of our South Perry home. That has gone well. I don't have a huge practice but I do enjoy the people who come to work with me. Ive decide to do the same thing with the Mosaic classes because I believe that Creativity and Wellness really do go hand in hand.
In addition to Mosaic Classes you can add on a
• Paraffin Hand Dip
• Far Infrared Gem Stone Bed.
Both have wonderful pain and stress relieving benefits.

The Class Room Space
|
 |
| The Supply Hall |
The Class Room space seats 9 people at 3 tables - its cozy and inviting with room to work and enjoy the company of others. We can accommodate 12 if we are doing a Mommy and Me class. My very first mosaic was a Lazy Susan that my children and I worked on together in a little shop when we first moved to Washington when they were 3 and 6 year of age. Id love for others to enjoy such an experience. |
The Hallway is very wide in this old house of ours. Ive set it up to works as a wonderful place to choose from a wide variety of mosaic tessera and mosaic inclusions for your project. My massage studio is the first door to the right.

Experience the Healing Power of Far Infrared Gemstone Therapy
Far Infrared (FIR) therapy is one of nature's most gentle yet powerful healing tools. Unlike conventional heat, far infrared rays penetrate 2–3 inches below the skin's surface, warming your body from the inside out. This deep, radiant heat helps increase circulation, relax tight muscles, reduce inflammation, and support your body's natural detoxification process — all while you simply lie back and rest. Regular sessions have been associated with relief from joint stiffness, minor muscle pain, improved sleep, and a profound sense of calm.
What makes our sessions truly special is the combination of six powerful healing gemstones woven right into the mat. Tourmaline is known for emitting the highest levels of negative ions, which help neutralize environmental stress and boost circulation. Amethyst is a natural conductor of far infrared energy, supporting deep relaxation and restful sleep. Jade has been treasured for centuries for its ability to promote balance, soothe the nervous system, and support joint health. Turquoise is considered a powerful healing and protective stone, known for its anti-inflammatory and mood-lifting properties. Red Agate brings grounding energy and is believed to support vitality, strength, and circulation. Finally, Obsidian acts as a deeply protective stone, helping the body release tension and emotional stress. Together, these six stones work in harmony with the far infrared heat to create a truly holistic experience for your body, mind, and spirit. |

Treat Your Hands to the Luxurious Benefits of Paraffin Wax Therapy
Paraffin wax therapy is one of the most soothing and effective treatments you can give your hands. As the warm wax is applied, it creates a gentle heat cocoon that opens pores, increases circulation, and drives deep moisture into the skin. This makes it an exceptional treatment for anyone suffering from dry, cracked, or aging skin, as the wax locks in hydration and leaves hands feeling incredibly soft and supple. The warmth also helps relax stiff joints and ease the aching discomfort associated with arthritis, carpal tunnel, and general hand fatigue — making it as therapeutic as it is indulgent.
Beyond the physical benefits, there is something deeply relaxing about a paraffin dip. The enveloping warmth melts away tension almost immediately, promoting a sense of calm and well-being that extends well beyond your hands. Regular treatments can visibly improve skin texture and tone, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and restore a youthful softness that everyday washing and weather strip away. Whether you are treating yourself after a long week, managing chronic hand pain, or simply craving a moment of pure pampering, a paraffin hand dip is a small luxury with big results. Come experience it for yourself — your hands will thank you!
